In partnership with the production company Brown Paper Dolls, “Milk + Honey” is a webisode series which showcases three women of color as they navigate through spiritual, emotional, and career experiences.
Each woman is working to carve her niche in the respective acting, musical, and corporate realms while still maintaining positive friendships and creating love connections.

This Stranger…
“I apologize for the noise”, as he loaded my car onto the back of the tow truck bzzzzzzzz.
I only had four dollars and change to my name, my bank account was overdrawn, the gas tank was nearly empty, and I left my cell phone at home on the charger. POW! To top it all off my tire just blew out in the middle of the desert, the cut across on the way to church.
bzzzzzzzz…I thought to myself, I am thankful to God that I can hear, I prayed for Him to send me an Angel.
“Oops! what da ya know, I forgot to turn on the odometer”, he smiled.
He didnt charge me although we went over the five mile maximum requirement for classic AAA membership. Although he refused, I tipped him all that I had.
Oddly, he gave me a hug and said, “You look like you could use one”.
